In 2023, Fleetclear has been navigating a series of notable developments and achievements. We'll provide a breakdown of our latest sales wins and product developments and keep you informed about all the exciting happenings within Fleetclear.

New Contracts, new opportunities

Kirklees councilWe won our first tracking and telematics contract for Kirklees council in Q1 this year and successfully mobilised 817 vehicles in just eight weeks through May and June. It is a massive achievement for the business, both commercially and operationally. We thank everyone involved in making this project a huge success.Serco fleet vehiclesIn addition, in Q1 this year, Fleetclear was awarded a contract to supply tracking and telematics for Serco fleet vehicles. This project's scope is significant, with upward of 1,500 vehicles expected to have Fleetclear trackers installed by the 2024 year-end. Work on this project is now underway, albeit the mobilisations are smaller, with each Serco contract migrating over to Fleetclear one at a time.SuezOur long-standing relationship with Suez continues to develop, with additional sites, including Milton Keynes and soon Mid Kent, being added to the Suez fleet. Credit to the Ops Team and Engineers who pulled out all stops to meet the challenging timescales imposed. These additional Suez contracts bring the number of Fleetclear Connected Suez vehicles to over 1,000.XPO LogisticsAt the start of the year, we started working with XPO Logistics to provide a bespoke safety solution, including a drop trailer feature that will be monitored via the Fleetclear Connect platform. We've installed our solution on 75 XPO vehicles, with a further 140 to be fitted before June 2024. This is a significant opportunity for Fleetclear within the Logistics sector and will open doors to provide solutions to other companies within the Saint-Gobain group.AmeyWe've been working with Amey for the last two years to become their preferred telematics solutions provider. We recently installed trackers on 10 of their vehicles as a trial and are currently working on closing the deal with Amey to secure the entire fleet of over 1700 vehicles. We expect this to come to fruition in early 2024, so we'll keep you updated on this progress.

Building for the future with technology

2023 welcomes the Fleetclear Software Engineering team as a new department in the business. This critical expansion of skillset and experience enables us to strengthen and maintain our unique product offering and push our own technical innovations in the industry. The future of the business is technology-led, and the implementation of this internal Engineering team this year signifies a crucial step forward for the company. After a long period of ground-up development, Fleetclear Connect brings to the market a harmonisation of safety tech, fleet management, and data analysis through a modern web platform, ready to grow in the ever-evolving world of technology.

Product development

Over the years, Fleetclear developments have reliably provided safety to operational and public workers through internal innovations, including Anti-Roll Away, Driver ID, Auto-Braking and Cyclear safety systems. New exciting projects are on the horizon that will expand our core product offering, utilising the latest in wireless technologies, AI, Asset tracking technology and, of course, further evolution of our software platform Fleetclear Connect. This year will also see the implementation of our new 'module-based' vehicle installation design. This achievement has been made possible thanks to the collaboration between our Technical, Production, and Installation teams, marking another significant milestone for our business, helping us streamline the installation process, and ensuring consistent quality and efficiency across all installations. We are excited to set a new standard in the industry and demonstrate our commitment to innovation and excellence.

A faster, smarter Fleetclear

Changes are currently being made across the business to improve efficiency and information sharing, with the implementation of several new IT systems. We've introduced "WorkSmarter" to manage staff absence and expenses. A new CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system is in place to manage the sales process, and an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to manage operational processes and reporting. This is a significant project, and work continues behind the scenes to integrate these systems into the business, which will help support our continued growth.

That's a wrap!

We thank everyone for contributing to making Fleetclear a success and look forward to sharing more updates with you next time.
